Detached villa located in a pleasant residential area of Mindelo, approximately 300 meters from the beach and just 5 km from Vila do Conde. There are a few restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance of the villa. Porto international airport is approximately 17 kms away. The house is within easy access of Porto, the beautiful cities of Braga and Guimarães and the delightful fishing town of Viana do Castelo.

The two storey modern villa is fully furnished with good taste. On the lower floor there are 3 double bedrooms, 1 with en suite shower room and 1 with ensuite bathroom, and a third bedroom with a separate bathroom, a modern fully equipped kitchen, a spacious dining/living room (60 m2) with fireplace, sofa, cable TV, DVD player and a dining table seating 6 persons. Upstairs there is a large, comfortable lounge with sofa and TV, 1 single bedroom and 1 twin bedroom, both suitable for children. Both rooms share a shower room.

In the large garden (approx. 800 m2), guests find a large swimming pool (7 x 13 meters with a depth varying from 1 to 2.30 meters), as well as a variety of children’s toys and a covered barbecue area. There is also an annexe with a games room with pool table and a music centre, and a terrace with wonderful views to the ocean.

To the south of the Mindelo Ornithological Reserve, a protected area of dunes home to various types of bird, Mindelo Beach stands out for the enormous boulders littering the shore, which are not to be found on adjoining beaches to the north. These boulders serve as shelter and protection from the winds, while also making an excellent children’s playground.

With good support infrastructures, Mindelo Beach is in great demand among families from across the north, who often have holiday homes in the area.
