This charming wooden cottage is located in its grounds of 500 m², in the middle of a pinewood in the Arrábida Natural Park, and directly overlooking the Lagoon of Albufeira. It is 5 walking minutes to the lagoon beach, and only a couple of minutes more to the open ocean beach. A wide choice of beaches, including some naturist ones, are within short distance. Still in a range of 5 walking minutes one finds several restaurants. Shopping facilities can be found in the small village of Alfarim, 10 minutes drive. An open air market takes place twice a week (daily from July to August) in the pinewood area 200 meters from the property. Sesimbra is 10 Km and Lisbon 30 Km distant.

The wooden cottage, with 150 m² living area, is equipped with all comfort and consists of a large living room with settees, TV and dining area, 2 double rooms, 1 room for 4 persons with two bunkbeds, 1 shower room and a fully equipped kitchen (hob, oven, refrigerator, microwave, etc.). In a separate building one finds wash machine and a guest WC. The cottage has a nice porch with table and chairs and is surrounded by a garden with BBQ.

A car is recommended, as public transportation is scarce and unreliable.

Breakage deposit in the amount of EUR 200 for each week required on arrival.

Separated from the sea by enormous dunes and located at the extreme south of the stretch of sand that covers the many kilometres down from Costa da Caparica, the Lagoa de Albufeira Lagoon Beach, surrounded by pines features calm waters, ideal for children and sports such as windsurfing, sailing and kite-surfing.

With a direct connection to the sea via a small canal, the Lagoon sometimes experiences dangerous underwater currents around that area. On the sea-facing side, there is an area of coarser sands leading down to the strong waves that provide for excellent surfing and bodyboarding conditions.
