Also in this green oasis you find enough nice little corners for more private hours. In only 2 km of distance lies the small bathing resort of Balestrate which has developed from an old tuna harbour, and invites to stroll and gastronomic pleasures. In the sea promenade small shops, bars and typical restaurants wait for discovery. Should you determine to rent bicycles, there are nearby nice big sandy beaches with crystal clear water - approx. 3 km over the countryside roads stamped by the wine cultivation. Also a other tours are worthwhile: Castellamare, Scopello, Erice or the nature reserve of Zingaro to mention only some names from the long list of the places of interest.
