The Djadsal Holiday Club has recently changed management and undergone some beneficial refurbishment work. The feel created is one of relaxation mixing contemporary design with traditional and bright Moorish style features.

The swimming pool is the focal point of the hotel by day around which organised games and daytime activities take place.  With children being well catered for too this is a good choice for families.

Directly in front of the hotel, the wide, sandy beach stretches for over a kilometre in either direction. While the centre of Santa Maria is just a 10 minute stroll away. The all-inclusive package available includes breakfast, lunch, dinner, unlimited local alcoholic drinks and non alcoholic drinks (excluding bottles of water).

Rooms are either bungalow style or located in a block. Amenities include an ensuite bathroom, air-conditioning (superior rooms), ceiling fan, hairdryer, telephone, fridge safety deposit box a balcony or terrace. Rooms can sleep up to 2 adults and 1 child.  Bungalows sleep up to 3 people.

Erreichbarkeit ist sehr gut, ca. 20 km von Flughafen entfernt ( trotzdem kein Fluglärm) mit Taxi kein Problem und auf Wunsch wird für mehrere Personen auch ein eigener Shuttle-Bus vom Hotel zur Verfügung gestellt. Das Hotel liegt etwa 1,5 km von der City in Santa Maria direkt am großen feinen Sandstrand mit kostenlosen Liegen und Security gegen unliebsame Händler u.ä.. Eine Inselrundfahrt sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen, da man sonst nicht glauben kann, dass auf so einer sandigen Insel auch was anderes zusehen ist wie nur Sand und Steine (z.B. Blaue Grotte u.ä.). In der City gibt es diverse Bars und Pubs, auch einige gute Restaurants (teilweise unter deutsche Leitung) und eine weitere Discothek ( das 'Pirata', das seinem Namen Ehre macht!)
