Villa situated near the main Colares to Praia das Maçãs road, 2 km from the beaches of Praia das Maçãs and Praia Grande, in a delightful pine wooded area. Supermarket, café and restaurants are only 1 km away.  It is 8 km from the mystic town of Sintra, 15 km from the cosmopolitan Cascais with its marina and 17 km from Estoril which has the biggest casino in Europe.  Cabo da Roca, the westernmost point in continental Europe, is 5 km from the property.  For golfers there is a driving range 6 km away and 18 km away the golf courses of Estoril and Penha Longa.

The house is surrounded by a cute garden, a brand new swimming pool with all in a relaxed atmosphere where the silence is only broken by singing birds.

The villa is set towards the front with the pool and garden at the rear of the house. Spread over two floors and equipped with floor heating, it comprises 4 double rooms all with windows facing the garden (2 in groundfloor, 2 in the above floor), 1 double room connecting to the kitchen (optional), living room with open fireplace, dining room, 2 shower rooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Across the swimming pool there is an annex with a large bedroom with 2 bunk beds, 1 single bed, 1 double drawer bed, TV and 1 shower room, ideal for youths or children.  There is still a bathroom with shower by the swimming pool.

In the extensive garden there is a shaded terrace with garden furniture and a BBQ.

The property can be rented out either with 4 bedrooms (max. 8 persons), 5 bedrooms (max. 10 persons) or with the annex included, which raises the capacity to 15 persons.

At the feet of the Sintra mountains and very close to the sea, the town of Colares is absolutely delightful and has long been a very popular summer resort.

Colares is also a demarcated wine-growing region, producing the very popular and increasingly rare Colares wine, which can be tasted at the Adega Regional, in a very beautiful building in the town centre. Right next to it is the tram station which links Colares with Praia das Maçãs in the summer months.

In the environs of Colares are the beaches of Praia das Maçãs, Praia Grande and Adraga, and the typical village of Azenhas do Mar, with its whitewashed houses inset in the side of a cliff.
