Fully rebuilt cottage on the south coast of the island, where you find your dream house, in feudal environment and with endless space, both inside and outside. Overlooking a water pound with nenuphars, the nearby hamlet of Lagoas and the 7 km distant town of Ponta Delgada, this beautiful house enjoys a large private garden and a magnificent terrace with uninterrupted sea view.
In the 3 Km distant hamlet of Lagoas one finds shopping facilities and restaurants. Beaches of Caloura and Água d'Alto are within 4-5 Km, and the airport of Ponta Delgada is 12 km away.
Equipped with central heating, the nicely furnished cottage comprises a large living room with wall to wall windows with water pound and sea views, cable TV and open fireplace, dining room, guest WC, fully equipped kitchen, 2 twin rooms, both with en suite bathrooms. From living room one accesses a large terrace with sea view and barbecue.

Enjoying a unique view over the city and bay of Ponta Delgada and strategically located near of an exit of the highway from Ponta Delgada to Lagoa, the property is at a driving distance of just 7 minutes from the town center of Ponta Delgada and at 2 minutes from the center of Village of Lagoa. In order to reach the property you should follow the highway from Ponta Delgada to Lagoa. After passing by the Village of Lagoa you should leave the highway on the second exit after Lagoa, where you will find a sign with the indication “Lagoa do Fogo”. After leaving the highway you should immediately turn left on the first exit and drive for 200 meters. At the end of this road you will find the property at your right.
There are also several island attractions that are located very near the property, including “Lagoa do Fogo” (Fire Lake), fisherman village and summer resort of “Caloura”, beach of “Agua D’Alto” and the village of “Vila Franca do Campo” with its unique an amazing islet with a lagoon.
In the property you can enjoy the freedom of space that is given by its 10 hectares of land as well as the peaceful environment typical of an antique countryside manor house, along with the beautiful green landscapes that are one of the major postcards of the Azores.
In the property there is a dairy farm that goes until the sea and the houses are surrounded by a beautiful garden with fruit trees and flowers that are blooming almost year around, being the garden decorated with antiques farmers utensils, that were used on the past to maintain and work the land.
Not to loose are also the beautiful sunset views that you can enjoy over the sea, bay and south coast of island São Miguel and at evening the lights of the city of Ponta Delgada, that can be seen at the horizon.
Although the property is at a very near driving distance from village of Lagoa and city of Ponta Delgada, is recommendable to rent a car.
