Very attractive family home villa with pool, within 10-20 minutes drive to five lovely beaches (with great surfing). Villa set in its own large garden, with a fantastic location on hills running up from the sea, with a marvellous view up to the mountain of Sintra. The villa is large, with lovely spacious living rooms, with a lawn, a terrace and its own pool. Casa Galamares is 45 minutes drive from Lisbon airport and is 15 minutes from the historic town of Sintra and its beautiful palaces. Tennis courts, golf courses and riding facilities are also all very near. There are great restaurants nearby, especially for seafood. The bars and nightlife are buzzing.
This is a spacious detached villa with a cool interior (floor area 250 m²) and native Portuguese wooden furniture. It has two big ground floor living areas seating for 14 people, a dining room with seating for 10 people, fully equipped kitchen (clothes dryer, dish washer, freezer, fridge, grill, hob, kitchenette, microwave, oven, washing machine) and breakfast area, as well as 3 bedrooms, one complete bathroom, one shower room and a guest WC on the ground floor. Upstairs is a huge games room with table tennis and the remaining 4 bedrooms and 3 complete bathrooms. There is also a small balcony. All along the front of the house is a lovely red terrace with a large retractable awning to keep the sun off.
The house is equipped with satellite or cable TV, stereo system, video, radio/tape/CD-player and telephone. Bed linen and towels are provided (pool/beach towels not provided).
The house is surrounded by its own grounds and lawn, with a small orchard in which is set the swimming pool, as well as a BBQ and garden furniture. There are parking facilities for 4-5 cars inside the grounds if need be.
Children welcome, long term renters welcome, pets considered, suitable for elderly or infirm.
Changeover day: Saturday. Breakage deposit on arrival: EUR 700
The house is cleaned before arrivals and the garden is maintained.
Twice weekly maid service included in price.
Additional maid service may be possible, as an extra.
